Emily's Story

Emily is a passionate, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida, along with a Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a first-generation graduate, Emily has faced many challenges in her life, and her own mental health journey has deeply influenced her desire to help others.

Having firsthand experience with how life transitions, trauma, and mental health challenges shape one’s path, Emily is deeply passionate about supporting others on their healing journeys.

Emily specializes in working with adults and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. She creates a safe, empathetic space where individuals can explore their past, make meaningful changes, and work toward living fuller, more peaceful lives.

Committed to supporting her clients with empathy and understanding, Emily integrates trauma-focused and evidence-based therapies such as CBT, IFS, and EFT. She is especially passionate about assisting individuals through life transitions and providing affirming care to the LGBTQ+ community, recognizing their unique struggles.

Having experienced the positive impact of therapy in her own life, Emily is dedicated to helping clients not only overcome their challenges but also embrace their strengths and potential for growth.
