Carmen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Master's in Social Work in 2020 from University of South Florida. Her bachelor's degrees are in Psychology and Women's Studies from the University of Maryland. Carmen has been practicing with adults aged 18 and older with a focus on individual therapy for the past 4 years, utilizing an eclectic approach based on the needs of each individual patient.. Her master's level clinical work experience was in Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), she also uses perspectives such as family systems, feminist, humanist, interpersonal, and cognitive behavioral. She has a passion for assisting people in building a life worth living for themselves and is dedicated to approaching each subject with curiosity and humility.
