Dolly Ferraiuolo defies statistics. She was adopted out of foster care at 8 years old, and while less than 3% of foster youth go on to obtain a 4-year degree, she’s currently working on her PhD while building her practice, SHARE Therapy & Wellness. In her mid-20s, she was diagnosed with autism, something that highlighted the significant gap in inclusive mental health services. Dolly founded SHARE to empower individuals toward positive change through mental health and psychiatry services, specializing in anxiety disorders, trauma disorders, neurodiversity, and sexual health and wellness, including LGBTQ+ affirmative care. Navigating Florida’s political climate, which has created barriers to accessing mental health care for the LGBTQ+ population, has been a challenge, but Dolly is no stranger to hard work and innovative thinking. “My practice is not just a business; it's a beacon of inclusivity, employing a staff composed entirely of minorities and individuals with disabilities,” she explains.
