A self-described Ravenclaw, Theresa loves weaving wisdom and wit into her therapy sessions, often using Harry Potter and other pop culture references to make complex psychological concepts more relatable. Whether discussing emotional regulation through the logic of Dumbledore or exploring cognitive distortions with the strategic thinking of a wizard’s chess master, she believes therapy should be both engaging and thought-provoking. Theresa takes an eclectic and deeply personalized approach to therapy, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills (DBT), Radically Open Dialectical Therapy Skills (RO-DBT), Psychodynamic-focused therapy, and Mindfulness-based Therapy. With a background in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, Theresa has developed a strong foundation in evidence-based care.
