Cara's Story

Originally from the Tampa Bay Area, Cara has deep roots in the community, having attended high school in Palm Harbor and residing in St. Pete for several years. Her appreciation for the area lies in its unique blend of urban settings and natural spaces, which continually draws her back.

Cara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Science from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Prescott College, also based in Arizona, Cara specializes in Nature-Based Counseling and Somatic Therapy.

In her therapeutic approach, Cara brings a person-centered and experiential perspective to sessions. Her goal is to collaborate and grow with clients throughout the therapeutic process. Cara firmly believes in tailoring therapy sessions to each client's individual needs, whether it involves a shaded walk and talk at a local park, incorporating breath and body work in the office, or simply providing a compassionate ear to listen. She prioritizes maximizing the benefits of each session to support clients on their journey towards healing and personal growth.
