About the Role
PRIORITY HIRE FOR THE FOLLOWING CANDIDATES:
-1 pre-licensed therapist and 1 licensed therapist for the Clearwater area. Must be open to some evenings and/or weekend hours to accommodate students and professionals. This would be a hybrid position with 1-2 days of in person sessions.
-Therapists who specialize or have knowledge/interest in the following areas are preferred: ASD/ADHD, eating disorders, trans/NB affirmative care, trauma, sex therapy topics, LGBTQ+ Affirmative, EMDR/ART trained, and/or specializes in DBT.
-Therapists interested in obtaining a nutrition/dietician certification or who already has a nutrition/dietitian certification and is interested in integrating nutrition interventions in therapy.
Position Overview:
The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for providing psychotherapy and related clinical services to assigned clients within our outpatient practice. This role actively engages in the provision of culturally responsive and integrative therapeutic services, as well as supports and/or participates in initiatives aimed at fostering and promoting integrated service delivery.
This position is a 1099 contractual position to start, with the opportunity for full time employment and full benefits after a probationary period.

Qualifications:
Hold a valid and active license in the state of Florida (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)
Demonstrated experience providing outpatient therapy services to individuals with diverse mental health concerns and backgrounds.
Proficient in conducting diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, trauma-informed approaches, etc., and ability to tailor interventions to meet clients' specific needs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards individuals seeking mental health support.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively, prioritizing client needs and meeting documentation requirements.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in using technology for clinical documentation and communication.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to stay informed about best practices in the field of mental health.
Physical
Long periods of sitting, ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Series of Hepatitis B shots or declination of same at hire
Proof of negative TB test or declination of same at hire
Encounter occasionally hazards such as, but not limited to, bodily fluids and potentially infectious materials.
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities.
Administer diagnostic assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
Provide crisis intervention and stabilization as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure holistic client care.
Stay up-to-date with best practices, emerging therapies, and relevant legislation in the field of mental health.
Knowledge, Ability, and Skills:
In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and ethical/legal guidelines.
Proficiency in conducting clinical assessments, formulating accurate clinical impressions, and developing individualized treatment plans.
Effective individual, group, and/or family therapy skills, utilizing various therapeutic approaches.
Crisis management and intervention capabilities, including risk assessment protocols.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for client interaction and documentation.
Empathy, compassion, and active listening skills to establish a supportive therapeutic environment.
Organizational abilities for caseload management and meeting documentation requirements.
Collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in utilizing technology for clinical documentation, communication, and virtual therapy sessions.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in mental health.

This is a 1099 contract position to start. We are growing rapidly and project being able to offer full salary and benefits to employees who are interested in switching from contract to salary. Our goal for this offering is the end of 2024.
